Splash Mob 2016 was a roaring success. The weather was perfect, the lake was calm, and over 200 people splashed their way out to our gigantic circle on Kalamalka Lake.

All told, we had 172 kayaks, canoes, SUPs, floaties, and power boats on the lake, all of them encircling our message: Stop Invasive Mussels!

Our drone cinematography team from Rubicon Aerial Cinema in Kelowna did a fantastic job, and gave us this photo:

A short video of the event is in the works, and in the meantime, we've been spreading this photo far and wide. In April, 2017, we met with Minister of Environment Mary Polak and presented her with a signed, "visual petition" print of the photo:

Thank you to all the attendees and volunteers who helped make Splash Mob 2016 BIG. Stay tuned for the Splash Mob film...
